This is a page to announce details and dates for the next observing/astronomy session at Beaumont Secondary School, St.Albans

The planetarium software/sky simulation software recommended at the 5th December meeting of the Astronomy club was Stellarium. It is free and can be downloaded from http://www.stellarium.org/  The program is free and is very versatile and easy to use.

 

The next astronomy sessions will take place in Autumn 2012 as it will soon be too light in the early evening to allow observing. Thanks to all those who came along to the sessions before and since Christmas- I hope you enjoyed the astronomy and learnt something.
